The New Blog – WordPress Eclipse

One of the features I found a little limited with the Zenfolio site hosting was the Blog. It did have an integrated Blog, which is more than what Photoshelter had but it was still quite a basic system with few features and little to no customisation. So, I’d been using Squarespace for my Photo Blog which wasn’t bad but it still, in my opinion, lacked the versatility and flexibility and feature-set that was desired. I, therefore, decided to get a WordPress platform installed on my ISP hosted site A relatively straightforward matter apart from having to reset the DNS again which took a good two days before sorting itself out.

The next job was to find an appropriate theme that would match, as near as possible, the custom Zenfolio theme I was using for the main site After a few “plays” with standard themes, I came across the one which you see in front of you now, called Eclipse Pro. There’s a LOT to this with a fairly steep learning curve to climb getting to grips with all the features. However, that’s all part of the fun isn’t it?

Anyway, hope you think it’s as cool as I do and looking forward to seeing it develop over time.
